jayrockin:

Thinking of messing around with centaur and avian fashion. Pattern recognition is a primary focus of human vision because of foraging/fruit gathering, but avians and centaurs are primarily carnivorous and probably have an emphasis on motion detection in their vision. This is especially relevant because centaurs can’t focus clearly on objects closer than 3 feet from them without glasses and avians have poorer image definition than us, which are important for processing detailed patterns.

So basically like, what if it’s fashionable to cover yourself in fluttery cat toys and googly eyes

reversible-sequin clothing that the sequins change patterns automatically, possibly based on ‘mood-ring’ sensors
